Hello Hyperspin world! I'm mainly here for two reasons. 1) I'm thinking of giving this Hyperspin a try. I currently use Quick play and I'm the only author on the project but I feel it had its run. Hopping HS can be used in a similar fashion. And 2) clear some of the rumors and info on my Bliss-Box project. Bliss-Box Firstly its not blissbox its Bliss-Box mainly as some of you know, blissbox will lead you to un-viewable or NSFW pages. Before I realized that, the name was branded for me and it is sort of stuck. On emumovies you can find videos for the Amiga Demobase project. This is not the same as the whdload setup most people have installed. Demobase is much much bigger. Does anyone have a databse for this? Or perhaps a complete setup? I tried to get this running but failed.

I am pulling my hair out. I have PlayStation 2 emulator installed on my computer. I have added PlayStation 2 media files in the Media folder. I have a XML in the database folder and AHK in the module folder. I have a global emulator installed. Under Media folder main menu it shows PlayStation 2 art under the wheel folder. I have a PlayStation 2 video installed. But nothing shows on the wheel. I have made sure all associated names are the same but nothing shows up. What am I doing wrong or missing? Thanks for any help.

With the help of the forum I was able to get my first system setup (Gorilla Cab, which is going to be torn down due to sheer ugliness) and new Kong-Cab built ( a bartop 2 player cab) which also has a jukebox (JRiver) application installed. My question is this This system is a touchscreen Dell machine and when I play a game in MAME, the other function keys such as ESC stop working in Hyperspin. I can no longer use up/down with the joystick to cycle through the games. It's as if I cannot restore focus to Hyperspin despite it being the main screen. Looked over a few threads but I cannot find any reason why this would happend. Windows 8.1 if it helps

*Please move this thread if it belongs elsewhere* Really happy to see HyperList updated with separate Super Famicom and Famicom XMLs. I was wondering if it's possible to also have Japanese Mega Drive & Game Boy exclusives as separate systems? There are really tons of playable games that were released exclusively in Japan, just like with the Japanese SNES and NES titles.

So my cabinet is up and running and 80% of my games are running now onto my next goal As my little boy gets older i want hyperspin to launch disney movies first of can this be done? If so this is what id like, first i want disney themed wheel ( after watching helps vids in sure i can make) then like the roms i want each movie to have clip and background (im sure i can make from trailer clips and googles art work) But i still need help,First of all is this possible? If so what media player do i need?has any way achieved this?

First of all, is there a main menu wheel and theme for Amiga CD32? I have been searching alot, without success. I have got almost every wheel for the games, maybe all of them, but there seems to be a little trouble with the names in the database. In the database som games are named like this: "Alien Breed '92 Special Edition & Qwak (Europe)", do I have to add "'" and "&" to the wheel and video filenames?

Is there a way to have mame clones as a subwheel to parents. Would make browsing the Mame game list much nicer, while still giving the posibility of playing every version. Mostly usefull for me for games I sometime rather play the 2player clone version with character choice, as opposed to the 4player parent version with character set in stone to each control.

So my arcade cab computer crashed and the drive was corrupted so I am starting out mostly from scratch. Windows 7 64 bit PC Monitor Crossfire 2560x1440 Nvidia GT640 USBLinx inside converted Ultracade cab (this converts my buttons to keyboard presses) I was able to salvage a lot and I have everything complete with art and videos and all launching pretty much correctly. I apologize if this has been asked before but I tried searching and couldn't find anything. Is it possible to create a top wheel that only includes categories (i.e. Arcade, Consoles, Computers, PC, etc. . .) when selected will take you to the next wheel where you can select from all the machines that fall into that category?

I use RetroArch for most of the systems nowadays and I like it very much...it's a lot easier to get up and running than before. I use the Nestopia core for NES and it's very nice and smooth...but I can't seem to figure out one thing. Because the USA NES is NTSC and the European versions is PAL the PAL games run about 20% faster in a NTSC console. Like some of you know...some NES games like Super Mario Brothers where converted badly between ntsc and pal and the speed of the music isn't the same on both systems. I grew up and played the one with faster music, and every time I play the one with the slower music it just doesn't feel right. Well...I have the ROMs for both…

Hi all Just upgrade my cab with a i7 4770k cpu and a gigabyte z97x gamer 5 mboard plus added a ssd for the os for fast boot. so now got to change hyperspin settings and emulators to d drive cus ssd is c drive now lol.

I know this is off topic with HS but I have a nice retro gaming setup and I use all scart cables for RGB CRT on my Neo Geo AES, SNES, NES, Sega Genesis, etc etc. Currently I am using a Hama 3 scart switch. I am looking for a high quality powered scart switch that can handle 6-8 inputs. I have been trying to track down a shinybow/skytronics powered switch for over a year now. Ebay always comes up nil and I can not find anyway to purchase via UK/Euro and import. I am sure these things are dime a dozen in pawn shops or local electronic stores. Does anyone know of a way someone in the US can track something like this down, or similar item? Thanks, odd request I know.

It's been a while since I offered any new intro's to the masses here at HS. I have been revisiting some of my older stuff and revamping a lot of things. Simple text edits and adjustments to volume. Really boring stuff but more in line with keeping things universal. I have also been working on a few new intro's that I plan on releasing sometime soon. All the new changes will be will be reflected on my blog and my folder on the FTP. Also I will be removing all 720p copies and strictly move forward with nothing but 1080p video. I am going to purchase a Platinum membership, just for the easier set up and configuring that it offers. The issue I'm having is, My "gaming" computer I haven't finished building yet.
