Been noticing looking at a lot of theme previews that people are using special art with the PS4 buttons pictured on them. This makes me guess that they use the PS4 controller and must have success if they were willing to create special art for it. Its been awhile since but I gave the Ps4 controller a run and seemed to work pretty good, but I had to many issues to stay with it. So was just wondering, for the people that use it. What do you guys think? Does the setup seem pretty stable and stay connected without issues and which programs are you guys using for it?

Hello! Hyperspin noob here! I am trying to add systems and configure existing systems in a build i downloaded from the net. Got everything running except... I keep running into the message; "Can't find roms with any provided extensions". I have tried adding ColecoVision for example and the emulator (colEm) works on it's own... The extensions names both in Hyper HQ and settings file for the system are correct and separated by a coma and a space. This build does not have the HyperLaunch UI. Is this a problem that needs this program to be settled? If so can i add and use it in an existing build? Any help would be appreciated Thank you! …

Hello, Everyone. Since they're pretty painful to figure out sometimes, I thought I'd share my PC game control mappings with everyone. Hey Guys, I'm just wondering which database do i need to edit in order to get my games within my PC GAMES WHEEL in alphabetical order? is It PC Games.ini within databases or the rocket launcher/modules/pc Launcher/Pc Games.ini? thanks, Vince

My arcade cab was fine, i downloaded some new bezels form emu movies and my PC crashed when exiting hyperspin. Upon reboot my cab wouldn't boot from the C: drive, keep coming up with a grub command prompt, i`ve never duel booted but i think this is something to do with "windows loader from daz" that i used to get around the windows 7 activation. I know I know not good . I also had no virus software as i`m fed up of them interrupting the hyperspin experience even when i set them to silent mode, every now and then they retake focus and stop hyperspin in its tracks. Used Retroarch and worked out how to use two buttons to exit, although Rocketlauncer wants to use BSNES rather than Snes9x. Getting a raspberry pi 3 and only going to use Hypespin for MAME - just to much of a pain getting stuff to work. Closed

Hey all. I received my 4 player controller and have Hyperspin all working great with MAME and console emulation. PC Games have been tougher, and I'm wondering if anyone has solutions. Many PC Games only allow 1 keyboard input and other players would have to use gamepads. I am finding lots of solutions to convert gamepads to keyboard keystrokes, but not the opposite, where a keystroke emulates a button press on a gamepad. Does anyone have a way to make games like Double Dragon Neon or Gauntlet work with a 4 player arcade cabinet? Thanks!!

Is there a way to have a limited number of games on a wheel Eg my child hood collection would be about 50 games, on snes, nes, megadrive (sega gensis) and master system. Do I manually have to go though the lists / xml files and remove everything I don't want to show up in the wheel/s? Is there a tool available? Id love to have a complete collection many of my rom sets have H1-6 J U E etc... Hyper spin only accepts one rom Ie is there a way I can have say the roms on this dir and hyper spin pics them up ?

Hello - have done some searching and so far not found an answer to the question of where one should install individual PC Games? Let me state up front that I am not currently planning to utilize the monster eXoDOS set(s) out there as I own the games I wish to install...and can't accommodate a nearly 400GB addition to my drive. Anyway, it seems this particular system category is unique in that PC games usually have far more than just a single 'ROM'-like file. So, what is the best organizational approach in terms of a master folder structure? Can anyone explain why the xml database files have issues with certain symbols. For example the Super Nintendo xml file shows Super Ghouls'n Ghosts (USA) it should read Super Ghouls'n Ghosts (USA) I'm having to manually edit the files to fix them. hellsing

Tried numerous times to get MS-Dos to work with Dosbox, Rocketlauncher, HyperSpin without success. Read module notes implemented a few thing which failed re-read the notes until my head exploded. I then said bugger it and deleted the 376 gb of games I downloaded. I desperately need a guide to set this bloody system up and running, so is anyone up for the task Would be extremely grateful

What's the situation with hyperspin now. I noticed the facebook page was getting updated regularly but it's been quite since September. I'm just curious really. Is bad boy bill now off the scene, can we expect any updates in the future. I'd love to donate or help out I use it daily and would hate to see it slowly be over taken by something else. Are there any plans in place to move it forward?

Bit of a daft question but I couln't work out how to do this; how do I find out how many games are on a wheel in HS? I thought that maybe by looking at the xml I could do it, though each game has a number of lines in the XML file and so I can't see any easy way to count them.

Hyperspin is working great. I can open the game up in MAME and i go to sliders and then change the horizontal stretch to .0932. I would like that setting to be applied to all games. I hear that maybe horizont.ini could help but not sure what to include in it for mame to apply it all around. any suggestions on what to include in that ini?

First off, the work that has been done on the unified bezel packs is outstanding! So thank you for all involved with that. I do have a question about editing them though. When I load them up, I always see the monitor bezel along with the background. Is it possible to only show the background artwork and not show that plastic/gray looking monitor part? Just be more descriptive, when I look in the folder structure in C:\RocketLauncher\Media\Bezels\MAME\btime, I see background png files that look to be artwork to fill the space on the sides of a 16:9 display. Then I see files called Bezel - Vertical.png, which look like a plastic frame, and those are the ones I don't c…

Wondering if there is a way to display the # of games in Hyperspin? Ideally when I, for instance, select say NeoGeo from the main menu and go into the NeoGeo wheel, either Hyperspin would display the total number of games on that wheel or even better display somethink like "Game X of Y." If not, is this coming in 2.0? Tried to do a forum search for this but the terms are just to generic. Thanks! PiperCalls

UPDATED: 1/18/16 1.Overhauled. Fixed black levels/color. Updated pics to show new version. 2. Bit more fine tuning. These settings were built by comparing my HyperSpin cabinet directly, side-by-side, with my real arcade machines. For direct comparison I used my Mario Bros machine and my Neo-Geo running Samurai Shodown 5 Special, Nightmare in the dark, Metal Slug and Twinkle Star Sprites. I tried to match these settings to look close to the real machines, but with a bit more ideal color and sharpness. These were set with Contrast, Brightness & Gamma at 1.00. When I load up a theme to edit it in Hypertheme, it won't show the associated video anywhere, even when I "play" the theme. I have set the default video directory in the settings. Am I missing anything here? Edit: even worse, I edited a theme in HyperTheme to move an image, and saved it - and when I run the theme in HyperSpin the video isn't on the theme anymore!!

I'm new to using Hyperspin and followed the directions on the "How To Install HyperSpin" link. I changed the default settings to have everything installed on the D: drive. I only got to installing the MAME emulator but cannot get it to work. When I tried to test the rom via HyperLaunch, it does nothing. I hope this isn't the wrong place to post this, if it is, i'm apologizing in advance. When I setup my mame cabinet a month or so ago, I downloaded all the unified bezel packs on emumovies. I quickly realized these wouldn't work well because my monitor is a 16:10 and the bezels from the pack were getting cut-off due to me having the wrong screen size. I then stumbled upon the MR Do site with all the MAME artwork/Instruction cards. After trying a couple of those out, I realized that was a better option for me as it wasn't specifically built for a 16:9 monitor, and seemed to resize the game screen as I turned on/off the bezels and instruction cards. Two quick questions I can run Sega model 2 emulator from rocketlauncher just fine. However it fails to load in Hyperspin everything is setup in hyperhq and using hyperlaunch.
