I am trying to set up Steam on my hyperspin machine. I was able to get it set up and working (mostly at least with some fade screen issues) but since my hyperspin machine isnt nearly as powerful as my main PC I would like to use Steam's In-Home Streaming function for when I select the games in hyperspin. Is there a way to set this up to do so?

Okay, so I've done some themes for this and now it would be nice to be able to use them. I'm currently on an old version of Hyper Launch version 1.0.48.5. Why such an old version? Because I have old emus and don't want to have to update everything to fix what's already is working very well. I'm hoping that I can get Pinball FX2 setup with this version. Anyone want to help this dumb guy out? I'd like to be able to start launching these themes myself. Thanks!

First post here. Long story short since I typed out a book and lost it a minute ago. I just finished my first cab... A couple years ago I setup a harddrive with hyperspin, full mame romset, a few other systems... I remember even paying to download the artwork etc.... Well ive forgotten all I had to learn to get that drive running right and just now got my cab done so am running into problems. Im running a 4 player cab, win 7 64, quadcore 3ghz, 4gb ram, gtx 660 Using an ipac4.... I finally got all my controls installed, installed ipac4, installed harddrive and everything was working great. Players 1,2, and 3 all worked but player 4 didnt seem to be mapped in mame. …

I hate to bring this here, but maybe somebody would have the answer. I'm trying to download rocketlauncher to use in conjunction with Hyperspin but I have to register on their site. Ok, fine. However trying to register completely fails due to some overly aggressive spammer settings they have (tried 3 times with 3 different legitimate email addresses). The error message says to contact the admins but there's no contact links anywhere on the site. Does anybody know how to get that software or contact the admins over there to let them know they're blocking legitimate users?

Hi guys having a small issue with 1 wheel on the main screen PS2. once the PS2 icon goes out the screen then returns , it returns as text its only that 1 wheel any ideas guys.

I'm thinking about upgrading to Windows 10. I have Windows 7 pro on a new Dell with i7 Processor. Just wondering if anyone has upgraded to Windows 10 yet and if it's been a positive experience or if there's been any snags in your Hyperspin setup after upgrading.

Has anyone ever heard of BANDAI PIPPIN? why does rocket launcher or Hyperspin launch my games without the effects i have made in the actual emulator another problem i am having is while launching RetroArch through hyperspin the actual image tends to go to the left corner of my screen it is not centered any way still have a few issues but first any help on this would be greatly appreciated image below i think Hyperspin is not applying direct3d

So I decided to install the MAME available to us spinners here on the site the no nag+high-score v.167 and I'm missing a bunch of files all there was was an executable. I ran mame from cmd and ran the command to create a .ini file. I launched MAME so the nvram file would create itself. Now what I am getting is an error stating that the history.dat file is missing. I found where I can download it. Is there another way I can just make sure I have all I need. I know I made a mistake somewhere just cant figure out where.

I attached an image to what it looks like when i turn bezels on. How do i get the display to not be so small? Ideally, what I want is the actual playable display to be the full height of the monitor, and then i just want to add the left and right bar bezel. does this make sense? thanks.

Im trying to get hyperlaunch to work properly, ive followed all the steps to set it up, my mame emulator works fine with it, but my nes emulator "fceux" wont load up , i think ive set it up properly but every time i test it in hyperlaunch it says Cannot find D:\hyperspin\settings\fceux r2263.ini can any body help me with this ? thanks.

Hey guys With hs nearly all done I am wondering is there a way to have emulators auto boot to game genie screen prior to loading game? I mainly want cheats for my retroarch console games and wanted to use cheats without having to use keyboard etc??? Thanks Jim

Hello all, I'm wondering if anyone can recommend a mini itx board for an HTPC build. Probably the most hardware intensive program I'd want to run is dolphin. As I understand it, this requires more cpu power than gpu. Should I still invest in a good graphics card? Thanks in advance!

Hi guys, Sorry if this sounds like a really basic question, but I have noticed that when i'm flicking through the game wheels, each time I choose a different game the theme background flashes black (for a second) and then the background appears. Its quite annoying when you are scrolling through hundreds of games. It seems to happen on most of my systems except for genesis? I've tried having a look through hyperhq but cant seem to find an answer? (I did look at the reload backgrounds option in hyperhq but its off for all my systems). Cheers George

I couldn't find any information about this, but I found it hard to believe I am the first to bring this up. I'm not very familiar with PC cloud services, my only experience with the cloud is Xbox/Playstation game saves, and Microsoft One Note. However, I was thinking that there has to be a way in which we could background sync the savefiles from a desktop hyperspin build, over to a laptop hyperspin build. That way we'd be able to pickup right where we left off when we are out on the go. I have the OneDrive with Windows 10, but I'm not familiar with it at all. if anyone here has a decent or good PC, could you do some testing? Won't take you more than a minute. I'm having problems with vids playing a bit choppy and jerky most times they load in HS, it's mostly with 60fps videos. I recorded some footage to show. Watch in fullscreen and pay attention to the right side in comparison. Notice how it appears a bit laggy and almost out of sync? Is this normal performance in HS or something?
