Hi everyone, as the topic states I'm thinking of a 100% Portable Setup with HS + Windows in the same HDD. I was researching about Windows portability and found that Win2USB can make Windows 8/8.1 totally portable, though I didn't try it myself. My current setup is basically Windows in C: and everything HS related to K: Which is an external HDD. I don't know if I can post the link where I found basic instructions on how to make windows 8 portable, the steps are really simple and here is a fragment of those instructions, I cut this very part because it clarifies that Windows 8 can be totally portable, though Windows 7 can't be totally portable. Request- I need nintendo ds and a psp xml file with valid CRC's please. The official database xml doesn't include CRC tags so I can't use it with Don's renaming tool to accurately rename my rom. Much appreciated if someone could help me out with this, thanks!

edit ok i think im done made a new main menu video has small black bars around it (dont know how to get rid of them) but i think it looks cool got all the games i could find (doperoms, tosec, old computer) all wheel art done game videos for all games module works perfect on my system at least controllers working got bezels for each game with controller layout for my xbox 360 controllers except the crazy D&D games....too many buttons etc anyway...here it is wit9SKApib4 +=+=============++++++++++++++++++++++++ old anybody have main menu video? game wheel? game videos? thanks craig

Hello again, I am looking for a clean Game Boy.xml file, since when I am using don´s hyper tools renamer it keeps giving me the error: "Error opening your XML source list: An item with the same key has already been added. Odds are your XML file contains invalid characters. Were you using rom2xml? If so, that might be your problem." I would really like to get a working XML file so I can verify the set that I currently have. Thank you.

Hi, i have my cab up and running perfectly well but some times just want to chill on the sofa and play games with xbox 360 controller, what would be the best way to set this up so i dont have to change key maps every time? I have all my buttons mapped to keyboard strokes, i have set up joytokey profiles for all the systems that dont use analogue controls and this is working well, its just the systems that use analogue that im having problems with (PS1, PS2, N64 etc)

I have most of my MAME roms. I have tested nearly all of them and weeded out the non working ones. The problem that is very minor but just kind of does not look good IMO is the screen that comes up every other rom that says "There are known problem with this machine One or more ROM's/CHDs for this machien have not been correctly dumped." and asks for joystick to be moved left and right. I know the roms work. Every single rom works. Does anybody have a way to hide said screen or a fix for this?

I've got a MAME cab I'm trying to configure to use HyperSpin as the frontend. HS is working great, it's tuned up and ready, but I'm running into a problem. I've included it in the "startup" folder of my Start Menu, so it'll automatically load when my computer boots up. But some application, and I can't tell which, is pulling focus away from the HyperSpin window after HS starts. As a result my X-Arcade joysticks (acting as a fake keyboard) can't control the HS menu, and the system is effectively stuck until I can alt-tab over to the HS window and restore focus. How do you have your system configured to work around this problem? I can't change what applications load…

Hello everybody, 2 days i'm on Xpadder, and i'm struggling to get it works properly. (I've follow the youtube tutorial as well) My goals: Using my XBOX 360 pad to control Hyperspin (browse games, exit HS, launch games etc...). Right now I have issue with the settings. Works great in my Genesis emulator, but not in HS. I'm doing something wrong, but don't know what. need some help... i am running a simple ahk script that maps center mouse btn to END key. END is my exit emulator key in hyperLaunch and all emulators. for most emulators this works as expected.. but for a couple... stella and zsnes... pressing MMB exits the emulator but leaves Hyperspin minimized in the background and it has to be force quit and restarted to get it back. however, if I press the actual END key on the keyboard, the emulator exits and returns to hyperspin just fine. i'm thinking this is related to AHK since pressing the actual key works but pressing the MMB mapped to END key causes an issue. here's my script. #SingleInstance force …

Im having a tough time working out how to move my Atari 5200 Screen over to the left so it fits the bezel properly. I have gone to TAB setting and played around in the limited Video settings. There isn't many options available and definitely dose not have one that fixes my problem. I have got the Atari 2600 & 7800 working fine using MESS but for some unknown reason to myself the Atari 5200 isn't. Im guessing i'll have to edit a file but have no clue what one haha.
