Hi all, I am having a weird issue and I can't find the solution. I hope you can, since you are more experienced than me for sure. I have hyperspin 1.4 configured with RLauncher 1.0. I have configured joytokey 5.x to be started once HS is opened (thru hyperhq) and until then it is good. The problem is that once I close a MAME game launched by RLauncher, the joytokey progam is closed too (I assume RL is closing it but I can't find any conf about that) so from then I can't use HS anymore, unless it is opened manually again. I searched and tested a lot but I can't find the cause for this weird behavior. Any kind of help on this is very appreciated Thanks,…

Hej Dear VPerz I use to play a lot of Pinball when I was young, but with Age this Passion went a bit to sleep. But just Yesterday i got caught by the Fascination of Virtual Pinballs. I watched all the Tutorials of that Dude scorpius (www.youtube.com/watch?v=fnKXIRK4-J4&list=PLZU98v6HPzNYCxOazPkDtTbBKPIAzi14V) and i was completely blown away. I didnt know something like this even existed and now here i am. One night later, barely slept an hour and already planned my own pinball cabinet: 43"/24" Screens, zebsboards all in one VP-Kit, visual pinball with a Hyperpin frontend. Tipping Analysis looks pretty good Place might be an issue here. But if t…

Just received parts in the mail. Decided to use the freescale microcontroller which will act as the z-axis of a joystick for the analog plunger movements. Also got a linear array and a couple of blue LEDs. BTW, This is going in my upright cab... -Had to invert the plunger to fit it in the control panel, still works and feels good. The plunger has a slight angle and gets a bit close to the bottom of the cp towards the end. The pvc tube, etc... still fit and funcyions fine. -Wondering about the width of the slots, especially the slot for the incoming light from the LEDs. -Before I got the parts, I was using the plunger with a leaf switch mounted near the…

Hi All. I'm new to this board and got bitten by the HP bug when i first installed and played with it a few weeks ago. I'm looking to build a bartop arcade cabinet and really need help choosing the computer/graphics card to use. Im currently testing HP on my media center PC and my specs are below Motherboard: Asrock FM2a88x-itx+ Processor: AMD A4-5300 APU 3.4Ghz RAM: two Corsair xms3 2GB each Hard Drive: Samsung 120GB 2.5 inch (I know I need more ) And that's about it. while this works great as a media center, I cant seem to get anything above an N64 to run. And higher 3d mame games like Virtual fighter run at a snails pace. It's obvious I need to buy a…

Ok, wanted to start the Heroes pinball build thread after months of researching on this board. My friend and I are both building the exact same cab at the same time, so we are tag teaming. He is the expert wood worker and I am the PC guy. We are currently building a standard Williams wide body with 40 inch LED samsung as playfield. We are using a 28" 16:10 LCD for the backglass and a 15 Inch LCD for the DMD display. Shout out to the following forum super stars :Big thanks to mameman, Badboy Bill, Bill55, ebarlow99, and the ever awesome DeeGor (huge help). We are finally underway with wood working (both boxes have all the wood cut and base cabinets are assembled). …

Has anyone had experience with the Vizio units? Specifically looking at: VIZIO M43-C1 43-Inch 4K Ultra HD Smart LED TV (2015 Model)http://www.amazon.com/VIZIO-M43-C1-43-Inch-Ultra-Smart/dp/B00T63YUTE/ref=pd_sim_sbs_504_6?ie=UTF8&dpID=514njc74bQL&dpSrc=sims&preST=_AC_UL160_SR160%2C160_&refRID=1FGSHGRF4Q94RN3VTHF4 1) I assume this would fit in a wide body cab without issue? Dimensions of TV are 37.9" x 21.8" x 2.4" 2) Does anyone know if these can be decased? 3) Does it matter if the input is HDMI vs Computer input??? I don't mind spending a little more for better components thus open to other suggestions for best monitor for a widebody. …

Hello Spinners and Pinners, Wow what a hiatus for me. Sorry I haven't been around much lately. It's good to see people still making machines and sharing ideas. This website is still my favorite to get a pulse on custom arcade machine builds. I do still answer emails and contacts so please if you need anything let me know. Keep up the excellent work! VPcabs out of Ohio is going to be on Shark Tank next month. As you can imagine Brad Baker's 3 year journey to get to this point has been a long haul (literally). His annual visits to arcade shows throughout the country has been a lifeline to what Hyper Spin and Hyper Pin represent. Good old arcade fun in a new age cabinet…

Hi, My husband and I own a small cabinet shop. Recently We've reseived an email from some software developers offering us the app for designing cabinets and calculating the price of a kitchen. It is called Online 3D kitchen constructor http://prodboard.eu/kitchen/ I know that it's a good point that we should use a program to help us in our business, and it seems quite a nice solution, a rental program, by the way, but who knows. So I would highly appreciate if you could give me some advice on this particular software, whether it is worth paying for. Thanks in advance,

Hi, new to the forum but seems the right place to start. I want to build a virtual Pinball machine, is there any full guides out there from start to finish? I suppose I would like something ideally quite easy to build as this will be my first build. Thanks
