Hi all, so im trying to put together some tutorials to upload for approval and wanted to get some help with it if you can. Its a Hyperspin core tutorial but aimed towards Android users and people that dont have access to HyperHQ (Android users with only OSx PC's for example) Going to do this for the core settings files, Global Settings.ini, Main Menu.ini, Settings.ini and SYTEMNAME.ini Black Text = Setting Green Text = Example Value Red Text = Explanation Blue Text = Possible Values THIS IS A 1st DRAFT and needs soem editing by myself, but just need some of the blanks filling in if the community can help me out that would be awesome. trying to setup mame with vert only games. have xml in hand and games are launching just fine, however i can't find anywhere to set it vertical in HyperHQ. Doing a search ai see there are themes supposedly on the ftp, but i can't find that info on the site. Even searching the forums and stickys, still can't locate it. can someone help me with this?

Hello, I seem to remember there was, I believe a small app within hyperspin that allowed you to store your user ID and password. Is this still available in HS1.4 / RL. Or can it be downloaded still? Any help appreciated, Thomas

hey all, is there a way to play a sound theme continuously throughout every menu in hyperspin until you launch a game? maybe by means of the hyperspin event dispatch system (EDS) [third party tool]? maybe someone already did something similar or has any idea of how to this. let me know. thanks and have a good one! tim

Hello Guys, I'm trying to launch a Nintendo Game & watch game on Rocket Launcher and it keeps saying "Your Libretro_gw dll is set to gw_llbreto but could not locate this file: E:/ hyperspin/emulator/retroarch master v1/cores /gw_libreto.dll". I know i am missing something here, Please help. I am using RetroArch as my emulator. Thanks.

I've been stuck on this for a day now and this is my next system to add to Hyperspin. I don't want to faff about with Magic Engine and Daemon Tools, so Mednafen is obviously the best choice, but I'm not sure what's going on. I stuck the PC Engine bios in both Medgui's main directory and the roms folder, -and- the 'firmware- directory in Mednefen's folder, but loading any of the ISOs rewards me with a black screen. No errors, just black screen. The only thing I can think of I haven't addressed is the actual ISOs I have; the cue sheets do not delineate between wav or mp3 in the file list, so I've no idea what they are and apparently Mednafen won't run mp3. So I'm a noob. I got a pretty loaded hyperspin with emus, and only mame roms. I'm trying to figure out how to use a xin MO USB with my current setup. I have hyperspin v1.3.1, hyperhq 1.3, and hyperlaunch say file v3.0.0.9/product v1.1.9.4! How can I setup my xin MO. I have autojoykey,xpladder, and joytokey. Should I just upload the newest version on everything and will it cause me to lose all current files?

Hello, I'm having issues running Dreamcast games. I'm using NullDC emulator. Every time I launch a game it starts to the Dreamcast menu and all, but than says "This game doesn't support the AV cable that is currently connected to the main console. Turn off the power and replace the AV cable." What does that mean?? Please help. Thank you.

Hello guys i have a little problem that i just can't figure out! I'm trying to make a SNES game list, so after getting all the roms and renamed them after the .xml file i downloaded from here SNES Database (it took me ages to rename all the ROMs!) Anyway, after renaming all my ROMs some games appear in Hyperspin but not everything.. When i lauch RocketLauncherUI it says that it found 207 games (which is all the SNES games i have). But when i open Hyperspin there is some games missing, for instance, i can see Mortal Kombat 1 and 3, but 2 is for some reason missing.. So I know a lot of effort is going into the XMLs right now, and it's fantastic... however, I am still more than a little bit confused about where to download the latest official databases. I see that there are really recent updates to HyperList -- June of 2016 -- but when I download a lot of these databases, they're full of duplicates. Totally stumped. For example, the Game Boy XML still has Rev A duplicates... The Nintendo DS database has En, Fr suffixes... What am I missing?

Hi all, I have a IPAC2 (keyboard encoded) arcade cabinet, and when I press the player 1 stick down (encoded as down arrow), the system wheel just goes berzerk and keeps going. Any tips/help?

Hi, Sorry if this has been asked before but is it possible to have a favourites wheel on the main menu where you can put all your favourite games from all the systems into one? Ie, add MAME, NES,SNES, Sega etc games into the one favourites wheel on the main menu and load the games from there so you don't have to go to each system or each systems favourites?? Cheers Johno

Hey guys, i have been trying to setup the nintendo power wheel so that i can view nintendo power magazines in hyperspin. I thought i set everything up correctly, but when i try to load the wheel i get an error saying cannot find nintendopower.xml file. I am completely at a loss of where to put this file. Having a really hard time putting Colecovision on hyperspin. I have the game list come up. Pressing enter does nothing. Using Colem emulator. Roms col files and in hyperhq it sees then. I could play them in the emulator but can't access the games from the colecovision wheel. Anyone have a configuration readme for this?

hi guys, I had my hyperspin set up nice and thought I would try to get naomi working. I was playing with the hyperlaunch autohotkey file editing the script as Im not running rocketlaunch. Now when I try to start any games I get the "you need a backslash at the end" error I restored my old hyperlaunch file and still get the same issue Ive tried putting the \ on the .ini in the settings folder and I still get the same error. Ive got all my categories set up so I really dont want to have to start from scratch. thanks in advanced D

Hello All, I am starting to put Commodore64 Roms into my Roms folder and notice there is several files instead. Which one do I use?? For example this game has 3 .t64 files, 1 prg file and 1 sid file. My question is... Do I have to put every single one in there or do I just pick a .t64 file? Please help. Thanks. I have enclosed a pic of the files.

Many of my roms are [a1] [b1], (jap) etc. I only want roms that are (USA) and [!]. is there list some where that has the top 100 roms for each system with only good unique dumps? I just dont need 15 versions of Donkey Kong- it seems like a waste to keep them all. anyone have some ideas- perhaps a Genre that has TOP 50 games or something? but i also want to delete the unnecessary roms thanks Cheers

Hi All, I have two screens a 27" 16:10 I use as my main PC and I have a 19" 4:3 which I want to use to setup the Hyperspin Software on for testing before I add to my cabinet. I'm looking for a way to launch the hyperpsin application on my 19" display which is the 2nd monitor in my Windows display settings. Ive got Ultramon installed and can mirror the Hyperspin program when running onto the second screen, but I would really like to be able to move like any other program around the screen area if pssible. Is there a command / switch to allow this ? Thanks in advance

Hey guys, Im having some trouble getting daphne to work with Hyperspin after moving the files onto another computer. The games DO work outside of hyperspin. I changed the framefile locations to the new directory. Im not sure If maybe something else needs to be done? Before I start, i am explicitly not asking for links. I know that is not allowed. BUT I have the Hyperlist XML for Nintendo Nes and no matter what set I try I'm missing around 80 games... these are generally the same 80 although I have narrowed it down somewhat by combining sets I've tried NoIntro / GoodNes / Random sets i found elsewhere and nothing seems to fulfil the XML. Most of these have far in excess of the 885 for the XML, but still miss around 80 I know i can make my own XML, but that goes against the completionist nature of me... I am trying to get my MAME default theme to show flyers on the them, say dropping them into artwork3 folder in media but have no idea how to do it. Is it just a setting that needs changes on the theme.xml inside the default.zip file ? Any help appreciated.

As the title says. I can do all the work myself and I have it up and running on my pc no problems. What I would like to know is how can i set this up to run at my job or portable without having to change drive path every time on the settings. Obvious I know windows assigns drives automatically. What drives me bonkers is how the heck do these folks sale these drives and say plug and play if u can't get a drive to stay as a static assigned drive. Cause they seem to have it down pack and its crazy how I can't get mine to work like plug and play style. I really don't want to buy one when i have one setup for my pc as it is thanks.
