Hi folks I'm starting some initial work to see if I can get a one button game video record solution working. As in, I start a game, press a button - screen capture starts, then press button again to stop. Ideally there would then be a suitably named game video in a specified directory. Before I start - has anyone got something similar working? I figure I just need a screen capture program which can be started and stopped on a key press. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

hello, i am planning on building 2 fight sticks that are specific to mortal kombat. I planned on just using my computer, not building a cabinet, as i have an upright with hyperspin and about 30 systems. but then i got the idea to have a frontend like main cab, but be specific to MK, all the games videos and theme. my question is this - can you have a hyperspin setup with say every MK game from 1 to trilogy on ps1 in hyperspin with no other games or emulators? on my upright i only have dragon's lair in the daphne wheel, and it basically puts multiple of the that game to make the wheel. this makes me think that even if i made an MK wheel entry that was somehow …

Has anyone created options on a Hyperspin frontend so that it starts up and let's you select different intro videos? Basically the idea is to have a specific intro for different audiences. I'm wanting like 3 different options could be selected with a wheel or whatever. Thanks.

I setup a PC games wheel on my hyperspin build. Edited my database to my list of games, had them all setup and running great.... Moved the HDD to my arcade cab which is running on a same spec'd machine as the one I compiled the HDD on, same OS (win 7 64).... After getting the HDD in my arcade cab, almost half of my PC games - fist puncher, jamestown, and several other gog games wont launch. I just get a "gamename failed to launch" system message. Ive tried going into properties and setting to run as admin and to run in windows compatability mode but they still fail to load. Any ways to fix this or ideas why they wont load on a almost identical PC as what they we…

just sharing this trackball games xml if anyone would like to use it, I'll upload it to the downloads section. any feedback is welcome if i missed anything, its nothing fancy. I had one from the ftp a while back but it was missing a few titles. I hope it's ok, I've basically just cut and paste titles that are trackball games from one of Brolly's MAME xml's. I don't think I've added any games to this list that use a spinner. mainly just titles that were released in the arcade or work with a trackball. So this weekend my old AMD 6870 video card died. Now I need help deciding on what I should get: Option 1: GeForce GTX 960 Option 2: Geforce GTX 950, 8Gb ram, Coolmaster Hyper 212 EVE CPU Fan This is the thing, The price of option 2 is only $20.00 more than Option 1 as 2 of those components are on sale this week. Currently I have 8GB ram and still using the stock cpu fan on my old i5 2500K. I figured I could overclock it a bit. Will the added ram and overclocked processor help more than having a slightly better video card? Looking to play Witcher 3 and Fallout 4 on this (as well as all my hyperspin systems)

Good day, First post here!!! I recently purchased a used machine and I’m just starting to get used to how hyperspin works. Been watching some videos and trying to get more of a grip of how everything works, however I’m not much of a techy so to speak. Quick question, when in hyperspin and you push tab on the key board, it says “general inputs” is that the general inputs for the WHOLE hyperspin program OR is just the inputs for the system you are currently in (ie MAME)?????? Hi all I have the latest version of hyperspin working with the latest rocketlauncher and now I'm wanting to many put in the intro videos in hyperspin for my games. I have the common Mame games. I've joined emumovied but arent really sure what video intro packs to look for. I did download one which had to be done is separate rars and then it wouldnt extract. Hi all, Newbie to all this but just got a Hyperspin system and when trying Amiga ROM IK+ I get a blank screen. When testing in the emulator itself WinUAE I get the error: "Unknown command runme.exe" Tried to download a different copy of IK+ but get the same error. Any ideas? Thanks

I have an Arcade cabinet that was built by someone other than myself and I need some assistance and direction from where to proceed with how to use certain functions of the machine. First let me explain what type of software and hardware that was installed originally and what I have done that has me at a loss. I looked inside the cabinet and found a dell 8200 inside with 1gb of RAM, a 20gb HDD w/ WinXp 32bit OS, and a 4gb flash drive that contained Mame, Blue OS, X arcade etc.. Does anyone know if it is possible to swap the pointer when scrolling through the system selection wheel? I'm looking to make it where when I am scrolling through the wheel it matches each system. (I'm not talking about when I select a system and go into the game wheel) Would I have to make a script for this to work? If so, where would I place it? Thank you.
