I was wondering if its possible to display systems or the games in a grid-like view with the center open for animation,videos,cover art etc. ''''''''''''''''''''''''' ' ' ' ' ' '''''''''' ' ' ' ' ' ' ' ' ' ' '''''''''' ' ' ' ' ' like so.... with consoles rotating around a preview in the middle an animated link or mario playing them on a tv would also be nice

I want to create a wheel on my main menu called Favorites. I want it to contain games from multiple systems. I've searched and searched and have come up with some answers but they all seem way over my head. This isn't something I'll be editing often as my favorites don't change and I have complete rom sets for all my systems, so knowing that, is there an "easy" way to do this? If there isn't an easy way, is there at least some way that is fully documented with a step-by-step tutorial either in text or video format? I'd greatly appreciate any input. Thanks, --J

Hi guys, I'm relatively new to this. I have an arcade cabinet (Candy Cabs) with a PC inside running a load of emulators including MAME under Hyperspin. There's Hyperspin, HyperHQ and Rocket Launcher installed. This is what happened: Last night I think I may have switched the main power off before the PC had finished shutting down, because today I got the message about “Safe mode” when starting up. HI guys, hope you can help. Today I updated my setup to RocketLauncher, this went well. On first launch, Hyperspin wouldn't work with my Xbox One controller, where it did previously. I fiddled about a bit then it started to work. I still had the issue with the analogue stick where it would scroll the wheels really fast left or right. I tried to resolve this via HyperHQ, but somewhere along the way my controls don't work at all now in the Main Menu. So I launch Hyperspin, and the xbox one controller doesn't work (though the start button does?!) and I cant exit out of the main menu via the ESC key. So many moons ago I did a hyperspin build and it has served me well (with the exception of windows defender trying to delete the hyperspin.exe on me for some odd reason). But I had been gaming less and less and my collection has become a bit neglected. Orginally I had my main archive stored on a drive, a Build for my homebuilt arcade cabinet (x-arcade control) and a build for my HTPC (360 / XBONE controller). Now, I no longer use an HTPC but an Nvidia Shield TV. I decided it was time to move the hyperspin build to my main gaming rig and upgrade it, with the intention of later copying the contents to an external drive that will plug in to my Shield and I will set…

Hello I am new to using Hyperspin. I dowloaded it following a guide on youtube made by Simply Austin, but when I go to audit my games on the rocketlauncher UI it says "Error parsing database files, Make sure the XML is well-formed. An error occurred while parsing Entityname. Line 326, position 40." but when i click on manually launch games using rocketlauncher they load just fine. Can someone help me sort this out?

I just wanted to say thank you for all of the help and to those who have put countless hours in to make HyperSpin as great as it is. If it wasn't for all of you I would have gave up and bought a pre-loaded system and I would be hating myself right about now. So I'm using Jumpstile's MAMEUIFX 0.159 and I have HLSL configured, etc. All of my settings work perfectly if I launch a game from the UI but if I use the .exe with a front-end and launch it via command line, it seems like it defaults to stock MAME settings because my HLSL options do not work. Is there something I may be missing that causes this varying behavior? Thanks!

I can't seem to find any Future Pinball Wheel Art. I have seen references to ZeroJay's set in searches but can't find it anywhere. The default set that downloads via HyperSync/Emumovies is kind of a mess and doesn't look that great. Does anyone have any suggestions/solutions for wheel art for Future Pinball and Visual Pinball? I've setted up the TI99-4A in RocketLauncher, it sends a "Fatal error: Device TI-99 cartridge load xxx failed: File Not Found I debugged it a lot and here's the bizarre behavior: via command prompt: mame64 ti-99_4a -cart alpiner = works fine anything else via command line that I add (mame64 ti-99_4a -cart c:\alpiner or path\alpiner -rompath, I get the error message that the file is not found... I'm curious to know if anyone has Philips CD-i working. Most games I try to load in MESS results in a blank cyan screen. I read on the MESS website that it only actually supports CD-i Mono - but I don't know which games are for CD-i Mono. I've got a very large rom collection, with a good deal of titles in CCD format. Before I convert those to bin/cue, I'm wondering if it's even worth it. If anyone could provide some support, that would be greatly appreciated!

Hey guys, how are you? I have some videos in MP4 that would like to make them my themes in Hyperspin. If I understood correctly, since HS 1.4 we can have cinematic themes, but I searched over this forum as well as on the web, and could not find a proper tutorial for this. I saw a post with a couple of tutorial vids, but they were removed from Youtube. Any help with this will be greatly appreciated! Hi, Running latest Hyperspin (Win7x64) and have XBOX 360 controllers driving my menu control using Joy2Key. If I turn ON XBOX controllers, then start Hyperspin, the menu control works just fine. If I start Hyperspin with the XBOX controllers OFF, then turn ON the XBOX controllers, they do not work at all in menu control for HyperSpin. The issue appears to be Joy2Key not "auto detecting" joystick changes. Must be missing something simple, any suggestions? Thanks, David

So I'm hoping to setup Pinball arcade and I'm too tired or just confused. Have been been successful with adding MAME SNK etc. does anyone one know how to start. Like I have been doing is starting in hyperhq. Do I set it up there and make it the exe vs a wheel ? And help would be awesome so can stop banging my head on the wall ha. Hi all , Very new to Hyperspin spent over 16+ hrs watching youtube guides and reading forums , Ive manage to be able to load themes and launch PC Games Problem im having is with one game showing up multiple times on the one wheel ive search forums and youtube only to find to turn on parent only on under wheels settings but it doesn't seem to work ive attached a image to to show whats happening and how do i fix it ?

Ok guys, this isn't so much a Hyperspin question, as it is a Retroarch question. I have asked the guys in that forum with no clear resolution. You guys always seem to be on top of your... game (Dr. Evil style). My setup is like this: Shield TV>Gamestream>Hyperspin>Retroarch. So I am accessing Hyperspin via Gamestream and my emulator of choice is Retroarch. Everything works great - except - I can only get one Shield controller to map in Retroarch I load up Dolphin, I can map both controllers no problem. Retroarch, it won't even detect the player 2 controller. Oh and, yeah I know you can setup Hyperspin on the ShieldTV itself, but…

To anyone using a nas drive I'm looking for some help all of a sudden hyperspin on pc can't find the roms on my nas I can click into the folder so it's connected to the pc alright but for some reason won't launch any games can't launch in rocketlauncher either although when I do an audit it finds them all but won't launch,only thing I changed was made the exe's run as administrator but was working when I tested it after doing that. Head is wrecked trying to figure if anyone can help me it'd be greatly appreciated

Hi! I`ve using MAMEUI64 since years, now i want to setup hyperspin for all my emus. I`ve never sort my mame roms but now i want to do it. I want delete all the roms i dont need. so you hat a small, clearly rranged rom set. every Frontend I`ve tested shows all games, and if the rom exists it starts. but i want to put an amount of roms in an extra folder and use them for the emulator. What i want is, that Hypersin shows only these roms i put in that specific folder. so i can connect the game with the romname and delete unneeded. is that possible?

Trying out another way to play pinball with my setup and running in to a few problems. In UI it plays and loads fine. When I try in hyperspin I frost had the error of missing .ahk file. So I copied the one from rocketlauncher and now get another error. Did I need a different.ahk?

Hey guys, I'm running into a small issue with Hyperspin not loading my MAME ROM's. I have read other people having the same issue and I have followed what people have suggested EXCEPT using the renaming tool to remove the file extension on the rom's. I wasn't sure if I should still do that with seeing that the forum date was over a year ago. Also the two videos I watched from from game room solutions and Simply Austin doesn't mention doing that. I have also included a few snapshots of my .ini files just in case I screwed something up. The rom's also work in RocketLauncher with no issue. Let me know what it could possibly be and thanks guys for the help.

Hi there, yesterday I was downloading media for the Atari 7800, and when I downloaded a Dig Dug ROM and tried to open it in HyperSpin, the emulator opened but not the ROM. I can't understand what went wrong. I gave HyperHQ the directory to the BizHawk emulator and my ROM folder, and did the same with RocketLauncher. I checked that Bizhawk supported the .a78 extension in both applications. For some reason, this has only happened for the Atari 7800 - on every other system I use BizHawk with, it works fine, and when I opened the ROM manually, it worked perfectly. Is there anything I'm doing wrong that can help solve this problem? Help would be greatly appreciated.

I have hyperspin hooked up to a laptop. During play all on it own the screen flips. I am using hdmi to a screen monitor and using x tank controls. Thanks for your time
