I'm still running the old Hyperspin and hyperlaunch 1.0.5 The kat5200 emulator wont run. Hello, i'm upgrading an old hyperspin build and should have probably started from scratch. I installed rocketlauncher (following the Hyperspin 1.3 upgrade process and updates), configured systems, paths, etc. I tried to test lauch a game and receive an error stating The mame AHK wasn't compatible. I pulled the one from my exisiting mame setup and replaced it. Then i received an error stating that the startup module is missing. I opened the ahk that came with rocketlauncher and compared it to the one i replaced it with (luckily i had backed it up). I see where the startup module line of code sits, and 2 others beneath it. just updated and when I run any rom in hyperlaunchHQ its says can't find d:\arcade\arcade\aee\roms\...... Cant find where to change back to d:\arcade\aee\...... any ideas, which ini file do I need to look for or ? , checked everything before posting on here. thanks john.

Hello Everyone, I'm trying to get HyperLaunch/RocketLauncher working with an older version of Hyperspin (1.2) and from what I've gleaned looking through the forum I need the Hyperlaunch Forwarder program that djvj made as the older versions of Hyperspin can't specify a different location for Hyperlaunch. I haven't been able to find a current active hosted copy of it anywhere, could someone point me in the right direction? Thanks!

Hi all Apologies if this is in the wrong section. If so mods, please feel free to move it. Anyway, I am setting up ZSNES emulator in HyperSpin. Everything was fine apart from the ROM names werent as the should be. MY ROMs didnt have (USA) or (Japan) etc after their titles. They were all .7z files too. No big deal I thought, I'll just use Dons HyperSpin ROM Renamer to rename them all with the (USA) etc additions to their names. This has worked fine, apart from the process has also extracted the files in the .7z files and given me a whole bunch of .scm files. Is there a way in HLHQ to add the .scm extension to the accepted list of ROM extension types? …

I run AAE and most games work. I cannot for the life of me get Asteroids, Asteroids Deluxe, Battlezone or Starwars to run, says, missing roms. I have tried every conceivable combination. Parent rom, every rom revision, even placed all files from all revisions into one zip file called it asteroids but still it says missing roms. I have windows 7 64 bit. All the latest HS HL updates. The correct XML. Has anyone else had this problem.

Hi Guy's, I have some question about setting a second emulator on the same wheel in hyperspin. I have Nintendo entertainment system wheel, and some games don't work in my standard emulator (jnes). And i want to set a second emulator (fceux2.2.2) for the games that not working on it. I have found a option in hyperlaunchHQ. Set Nintendo entertainment system, games, alternate emulators. add a new, alternate game emulator. Set the game ,system and emulator. Then i can start the game in hyperlaunchHQ with the rocket icon. But in hyperspin its starts with my standard emulator (jnes) and not fceux. Please can someone of you help me. I am searching for hour…

Hi, ive had my system up and running for a while now and decided to get a few extra systems running so after seeing a new alternative to git i gave it a whirl but every time i try the transitioning tool i end up with no systems being listed in rocketlauncher and with 75 systems setup i dont fancy starting from scratch please can anyone shed some light as to why this is happening,i have tried searching both forums so im not being lazy cheers

Hey guys, I'm sorry for this beginner question, but I'm going crazy over here trying to figure this out. So far I have hyperspin and rocketlauncher working well with my xarcade tankstick. I have my tankstick reconfigured with a custom set of keyboard buttons that are just letters and numbers. I am trying to set up rocketlauncher so that when I click two buttons on my tankstick, my emulators exit. Nothing seems to be working. Everything else works well. I can navigate through hyperspin fine, going into and out of wheels. I can launch all my games. But when I try to use the configured exit buttons that I have defined in rocketlauncher, the game continues to run. …

Hello everybody, Is it possible to launch pcsx2 in Full boot mode in Hyperspin? It works great now but in Fast boot mode. The reason is some PAL games need to start in Full Boot mode to match the system language... Hello, I'm using demul 0.582 with hyperspin and everything works ok except that hyperlaunch won't close when exiting games and i can't start another Naomi or Atomiswave game. I've used the forum's search and the people give this link for a workaround : http://www.hyperspin-fe.com/forum/showthread.php?30630-Hyperlaunch-won-t-close-when-exiting-games-in-Demul but for me this link don't work and i don't know what to do.

Hey guys, Ive been thinking I need to update my hyperlaunchHQ. The current version im using is 1.0.13.0. Im worried about what I might lose if I do so though.. If I download the most updated hyperlaunch (not Hyperspin) and extract it to overwrite the old one, will I have to set up my emulators all over again? Also I can't seem to find where do download it anymore.. Its been a while I guess, and now there is a new program called RocketLauncher, which I have no idea what that is lol. Anyways, Im sorry If its a stupid question, I struggle to get my arcade working, and I would hate to have to figure it all out again.. Thx

When trying to use RetroArch for any supported system, I get the error "Call to non existent function" and then it says "Specifically: StartModule()". I'm using the HyperSpin 1.3.3 install from the download page, along with the RetroArch.ahk it comes with. Hello everyone, Since I can't get HyperHQ to run I'm having issues getting my x-arcade stick to run correctly. I am able set it up in the games (pressing Tab and configuring the keys in each game in MAME) and it works fine but the real issue is that I can't get it to work right in the mame menu. The joystick will move the wheel up/down but none of the buttons will select the game I want to launch. There isn't an Enter key setup on the controller so I'd like to be able to select/start a game etc. by pressing the LCtlr key for P1 or the A key for P2. Whatever I change, I believe I'll have to do it in one of the INI files, do you have knowledge of how it should look, which …

Hey All- I am newish to Hyperspin, but I love it. I am running 1.3.3.0.7. I have most of the emulators working. I am doing all the software right now and plan to build a home cabinet in the next few weeks. Here is my problem I am hoping someone can point out my mistake: I want to add Visual Pinball (version 9.9.1) and run in in HyperLaunch. As I said, I am new, so maybe this isn't possible. However, I can get everything working in HyperLaunch HQ, games are seen and the emulator runs from the module menu. I have as of yet been able to get the C64 emulators to work in hyperlaunch or hyperspin. I use WinVice 64 for the 64 bit systems, yet the ini file to get to the emulator seems to be buggered regardless of what file I choose for the emulator path. Any suggestions-----have almost all other systems besides this one, the Amiga, the Dreamcast, and PS2 working fine. That said, the C 64 was my favorite back in the days when I even had my own cracking group. Any hints!?!
