Good day. I've been setting Hyperspin up for a good long while now and am getting everything set up the way I like it. I have most systems set up and everything is the way I want it (for now). However, I would like to customise it a little more. At the moment, I have my main menu showing all the system wheels. Go into each system and it shows that systems game wheels. Great. But with so many system and so many games, I'm trying to order it a bit more. What I would like to do is add a "Collections" wheel to the main menu. Then, going into this Collections wheel would bring up custom Collection wheels I have created, for example "Zelda", "Sonic" etc.. going i…

Hi everyone . I have collected the sega y board pack. artwork, intro vids, wheel art, and such. It shows up in hyperspin just fine but i obviously cannot launch the games because I am unable to set a default emulator in rocket launcher. any help is appreciated.

Hi guys, Could anyone please tell me which HyperList XML is the one that's in the HyperSpin full install as it's just call SNK Neo Geo but in HyperList there is SNK Neo Geo AES, SNK Neo Geo CD, SNK Neo Geo MVS and i'm just wanting to make sure i have the most up to date XML before i start gathering roms for the system. If anyone could point me in the right direction or tell me the difference between the different options on HyperList i would appreciate it. Thanks in advance

Recently, I finally got around to making proper XML's for 3 player and 4 player games, so that, when I have that many players, we don't have to sift through all the games or even the hundreds of favorites to find a good game. Have a look at the lists and let me know if you think I should add or remove any games. I run Hyperspin booting into a favorites list that is a combination of most of the "All Killer No Filler" lists that are pinned in the thread at the top of the Main BYOAC forum, as well as other choice games that weren't part of the lists. About 90% of all MAME (CoinOp) games suck. How do I remove the games from the HyperSpin games list? I only want the 5-star games to show up in the list. I have the roms in the MAME\roms folder and the videos in the MAME\videos folder. Everything works fine, except I have to scroll thru a bunch of crappy games in the HyperSpin list to get to the actual good games. I am building 2 MAME arcade cabinets. One will be for vertical games (mainly shoot'em ups), and the other will be for horizontal games. So, each MAME arcade will have its own HyperSpin setup.

I dont know why when I try to launch a game its not load show this in the log and screen: "D:\HyperSpin\RocketLauncher\Settings\Earth Defense (USA) (Unl).\Emulators.ini" I know the correct is "D:\HyperSpin\RocketLauncher\Settings\Sega Genesis\Emulators.ini" I dont know why its is change and I cannot found where I can fix it And when I open RocketLauncher.ini I see this: (they just change system by rom and rom by system) Last_System=Earth Defense (USA) (Unl). Hi friends, I wanted to see if anyone could help me with an issue I'm having. I have Hyperspin installed, with just MAME games, I have not set up the buttons just yet, I notice when I hit Enter on the keyboard to enter one of the games, I get the following message ( see image attached ), its about joytokey, can anyone share some info that can help me get this going? I just want to play MAME on Hyperspin!! by the way, am susing hyperspin with hyperlaunch and hyperhq. Thanks everyone!!

There was a post about this once before from what I can tell but not sure of the fix for it. I believe I have identified the issue as i originally thought it was only when running NEOGEO that this happened but its happening with MAME as well now and wasnt before. I havent tried other systems but assuming it would be same outcome as this seems to be an issue with RL. So i launch hyperspin and pick a game no problem plays fine but then when I exit back to wheel and pick any other game it will no longer launch the games. I had noticed that when I exit hyperspin all together and get back to windows desktop I see the RL logo in the lower right hand corner as it shows its still…

Been waiting for the game forever to put into my cabinet, but it looks like I'm screwed. I'm using an iPac encoder and need a workaround because: 1. It doesn't allow you to re-bind keyboard keys. At all. OK, well maybe I can just remap them in RocketLauncher except that... 2. It doesn't allow 2 players to use a single keyboard. Son of a bitch. So even if I can remap them there won't be any player 2 controls on the cab. That sucks, so I'll... 3. Try to use the Xinput hack to change my keyboard presses into 360 buttons. Worked on SFIV. Only the hack doesn't work on this ****ing game, doesn't even seem to register. So before I refund this game until (maybe, possible)…

Hi there, I am planning on building my own arcade cabinet and using HyperSpin as the front end software. I have a question regarding this software. I have collected all the games that I want for each system such as NES, SNES, MAME. Does HyperSpin only load graphics, videos for the games/roms that I have or does it just have a default set of graphics/videos that it loads? Thank you for your help. Sev

I'm thinking of getting a Logitech G920 steering wheel & pedal set along with the shifter for use in MAME. What would be the best sensitivity for the steering wheel (i.e. not too low or high?)

Hello Hyperspinners. Yesterday i started to play with my I-Pac ultimate I/0. I played with Rocketblinky made by some guys here, my god, thank you a lot! What a timesaver is this!. followed some tutorials from ninja, and i am almost done with mame. There is only 1 problem for me, i dont have a "coin" button physical. My controlpanel use the "player one" for shift and the first button of player 1 for a "coin" Is there a way, to make hyperspeech tell this, and ledblinky to show with the buttons? Hello everyone its been a long time since i came here , lol anyways , i tried the new Hyperspin 1.4 , and it works well with me when tried mame , and it worked very well but the problem is when i launch a system with FBA emulator (Final burn alpha) it launches the game but then gets me back to desktop whil the emulator is running , so i have to click it by mouse to maximize th screen and play and the problem happens only when i launch the game from hyperspin , but it works well in RocketLauncher outside Hyperspin Thanks for helping

I know that to enter service mode in MAME, you press F2 followed by F3. Well, when I pressed F2 and then F3, nothing happens. Was the reset button moved to a different F key? Any info would be appreciated.

Is it possible to program my led lights to react a certain way based of whats happening in a game? For Example if i am playing tetris can i make it to where the light will change to the color of the current shape i have in game. Another example is if i am playing street fighter and my opponent wins can the lights blink the color of the player. Also maybe have the lights strobe when i score a goal.

Getting a hyperspin setup going takes a bit of work. That work goes onto a Windows computer. The combination of things makes me nervous. What if a HDD fails? What if the OS tanks? Or, simpler and less catastrophic - what if I want to create another arcade box in my house and don't want to start from scratch? How does everyone do it? What files do you ALWAYS back up? How do you have your rom collection and art organized to ensure you have everything you need in one place and can just drag and drop and be ready to go? Thanks!

Left him in the dust when Hyperspin became faulty and will no longer answer our messages. This is why I'd like everyones help to get this guy shut down. Starting a new build after I've been away from it for awhile. Having an issue I never had before. Using Handy 0.95 to emulate Lynx games with a bezel. Game starts and plays fine except that the display is in "Lynx LCD Emulation" Anyone know how to turn the video mode back to normal using bezels and Handy 0.95? I'm not sure where that setting would be at? Handy, Hyperspin, or Rocketlauncer. Thanks for any help

Does anyone know where I can adjust the transition delay between highlighting a Wheel menu item and the associated art and video files showing up? The transition happens too fast and it's difficult to even read the menu choices (console/collection/game) when the Wheel disappears so quickly.

Good day. I recently started using hyperspin and ran into a problem. I made settings for using fade in Hyperspin. In RocketLauncher, I can run the game with fade, but when using hyperspin fade is missing. I use the global fade settings and everything runs fine in Sega genesis, but this is not in mame. I really need your help. Sorry for my bad english.

I forget how to tell hyperspin to select the 4 player version of a rom vs 2 player. Example - i want the rom TMNT, not the TMNT2po version when selecting the game via hyperspin. I recall updating the database but it didn't work. Any suggestions? thanks!

Hey all So I added 20 new tables to my collection. I also made a new theme for each of them, placing the new theme folders in the same theme folder all my other themes are located. All the new theme are named exactly as the new tables are named. I renamed the wheel images in my Wheels folder for each game and when I run Hyperspin, HS displays the correct wheel image for the new 20 games. HS does not however, show my the backglass image in the theme as it does in all my existing themes , this BG image is named Artwork3 in all my themes and I have the correct image of the games BG in each of the new theme folders .....named Artwork3. So I'm starting to set controls for my emulators but starting to run into some issues with some. For instance some emulators don't open up and don't have a menu to change controls. Daphne singe for american laser games doesn't open up, but when I run through hyperspin it loads fine. How do I set controls for that? Just as an example. Like for Nintendo entertainment system, I was able to open nestopia and set the input controls. But for a lot of other emulators they don't open by them selves but Launch fine within hyperspin to run the rom. For systems like these how do I set the controls and input map so I can use with my control panel? I would really love some help with …
