Dear all anyone can help me with a list of artwork properties in the xml for example <artwork4 x="500" y="355" s="0.3" r="3" time="0.5" delay ="0.5" type="ease" start="right" rest="none"/> what if I want to scale down the artwork,, is there a property for that ? type=ease is there other modes ?? is there a full list of this Thanks

hello all, got hyperspin too work with rocketlauncher. but when i go to mame i can pick a game and play it. but when i exit out of game back too hyperspin it will not load another game......... please help

Hi, I'm building a new machine with a Mame 0.180 romset. Hyperlist had a downloadable 1.6 database so this will not match my romset. I see that Rocketlancher allows me to create a database, which I guess is based on sending -listxml to MAME. Why would I want to use a downloaded old database over one created from the emulator? Not a loaded question, I only want to learn. Thanks, Brett

Hi guys and gals, I've been using an old version of Hyperspin in a cabinet for MAME only for quite a few years now. Just recently I decided that instead of traditional themes I'd just use HyperTheme to create my own themes, which would essentially be to just have the preview video snap fill the entire screen. Now that the videos are full screen instead of small, some of them look kinda blurry and/or not of the highest frame rate. This is an old version of Hyperspin that uses FLV files. I paid for a new subscription to EmuMovies, downloaded all new high quality MP4's for all my roms, then used the old video converter I once downloaded from EmuMovies to convert them to…

It's probably futile at this point, but I thought there is no harm in stating. I was mocking about Retro-fe and I noticed they had an awesome feature regarding the amount of control they have over video playback. This especialy apparent in the EON-NOX theme. They can use a video and have multiple instances of it on screen, using the same base file. the control includes cropping and having multiple instances on screen I thought this would be a neat feature to have available

Hi All, Was just looking through everything in the "3rd party downloads" section and didn't seem to find anything to do this... Are there any tools or tricks in order to view the RocketLaucher media that you have for a particular title directly from HyperSpin (via a hotkey, for example) rather than having to launch the title first and do it from Pause? It would really be cool, for example, to browse the games of a particular system in HyperSpin then hit a key on a particular title to immediately see it's flyer, or manual, etc... Hey all, I have my setup in the garage (aka man cave) which is hooked up to a 52 inch tv mounted on the wall. This display is duplicated off my computer and small monitor. The games look fantastic on the small computer monitor but I am less than impressed with the large display. It looks ok when in windowed mode, however I don’t like the way it looks authentically when in windowed mode. I haven’t been able to get bezels to work but is this the solution to my problem? Can I make the Play screen smaller and have graphics via bezels on the outside? It seems ones Hyperspin/Rocketlauncher launces the emulator (Retroarch or mame) those graph…

Have Hyperspin set up on my external hard drive and it works perfectly on most of my computers. I have the 1 key set as start. On most computers on the emulator wheel screen if i hit 1 it advances into the roms for the emulator. Hit 1 again and it started the game. Then I move my hard drive to the computer I am using for my arcade box Hyperspin starts and runs but when I hit the 1 button it acts as if it is selecting the emulator but then goes back the the emulator choice wheel. It won't advance past the emulator choice wheel. I have it moved it around to other computer and it works fine. Just won't work on my arcade box. All of the computers I am testing on a…

I am seeing an issue where the Fade in screen is interrupted by RetroArch starting. So when I start any game from any system that uses RetroArch, the fade/loading screen starts, then you see a flash of RetroArch boot, then it switches back to the fade and then fades into the game. It doesn't look smooth at all. I have all the Fade settings set to the defaults and I tried using Delay and Exit Delay but it still happens. Does anyone else have this problem? Thanks

I was thinking of an idea that might be nicer about the game themes that are featured in HS. Would it be possible by default for themes to appear only when you start the title? So how does the Nintendo Wii WiiFlow frontend work? For those titles that have a theme or you see the theme or see the default system, not both. I think it would be interesting to have this option so as not to break the pattern of the list presentation.

So I just finished my first cabinet build and I want just dedicated arcade games. So all I want is mame and Daphne for dragons lair. What I want is to have one wheel with mame and also Daphne. Is there a way to put Daphne and mame on the same wheel and launch Daphne or mame? Also I want to boot directly in to the arcade wheel.

I bought a 5TB HDD from and have had very little help on trying to get it to work. I did everything they told me on the User Guide, but I get this on my PC When I try to launch hyperspin it's saying: (Windows can't find D\Arcade\HyperSpin.exe. Make sure you've typed it correctly then try again? The funny thng is the HyperSpin.exe is in the Arcade folder on the hyperspin HDD with letter D????? I have no idea what to do?

Hey everyone! I had an interesting idea, that I wanted to get some input on. I've read that "Main Menu changer" makes it so you can add another level on top of the system wheels. While this seems like it works just fine for separating Consoles, Handhelds, Computers, Arcades, etc... I was thinking though, how cool would it be to have an actual Start menu??? That way, after the intro video you just exploit the theme in order to get a beautiful title screen for your build and the glorious "Press Start" wording that naturally brings you to the 'main menu'. Well... I'm wondering if this is out there or someone can implement this. Hyperspin booting directly is awesome. Exit and shutdown works great too.. But the issue is getting back into the windows screen at the exit menu. There no known way that I know to do this. Is it possible for someone to develop an icon or button on the exit screen to click so hypersin will exit to the windows screen for further configuration? This would be a sensible option I think. So instead of Exit Yes or No Maybe Exit Yes No or an icon such as a wrench to click on for windows?

I read last week someone else having the same issue. When I looked at my sign in name it was a different name? I had to sign out then sign back in under my name. Just thought somebody should be aware.

As you may have seen in the downloads section HyperSpin 1.4 has now been released for everyone to use and is now considered stable. This download only includes the exe and a scripts folder so if you are downloading HyperSpin for the first time you will also need the 1.3.3 download as well. Instructions for use. Extract the exe into your HyperSpin folder and overwrite (you may want to backup the original first) Open the settings.ini file located in C:\HyperSpin\Settings and change the path to HyperLaunch to Hyperlaunch_Path=C:\RocketLauncher\RocketLauncher.exe if you have it installed on another drive then make sure you use the correct drive letter. I recently started setting up the Taito Type X games on my machines using Giga's instructions. I also have all the files he used (I think). I have the games working for the most part, short of a few things I cannot figure out. #1 in order to exit games on MAME and Naomi I use a 2 button Key combo of Coin 1 and Player 2 start. I cannot figure out how to do this with the Type X games nor do I know if it is even possible. I know some of the games are hard to change the key mappings. #2 so far only in Raiden IV (the game I want to play the most) when press certain buttons at the same time, it changes the orientation of my screen. Hey everyone, I was reading through a post here on disabling the standard arcade sounds that go off every time you move the wheel (Something I've already done) and it got me thinking about something I'd like to try. Now, while I've already disabled the random sounds for the default *click* What I'm wondering is if there is a way to silence the video previews and just make some soft music play in the background of each system & the main menu? All the noise is great for arcade builds, but since I'm doing a console my goals are a little different. A quieter, and less annoying, experience would be great.
