Hello fellow Hyperspiners, I'm glad I came across this site since I almost purchased hard drive configured with Hyperspin. Some months ago I got a job as arcade technician, I looked into working in arcades since my major is computer electronics and I currently work as computer tech. I just did it to get some extra cash. Once I started working there I realized how easy is to fix arcade machines, really an arcade machine is composed of a monitor, buttons joysticks, cabinet, monitor and computer. I finally decided that Xpadder is absolutely needed to have Hyperspin working properly. Can someone show me how they have mapped their controls? I have "A" as "Enter" and "B" as "Escape" so that I can go into systems and back out to the main menu. The problem is that when I launch a game and hit the "B" button it sends the Escape command and the emulator closes.

I was having trouble getting my Project 64 emulator to stretch or force 16:9 because of the plugins being used. After trying several things, I came across this tutorial and now it is finally wide screen. The problem now is that I can hear the music but the video does not display until I alt+enter to make it windowed at which point I can view the images and can once again alt+enter to get it to go full screen again and this time show the video. Any ideas? I set my configuration exactly as displayed in that tutorial. Thanks!

Wassup everybody? Been a little while. I usually drop in from time to time to show some work I've been doing. Last time I did, I wanted to share actual sets just like now. Went to the upload page and I guess I can't upload? Anyway. Worked hard on these sets, cleaned up alot of the art as best as I could before making them into 3D cases. After four of five years of use out of my arcade machine, it's time to upgrade. I'm currently building a new PC and Hyperspin setup to put in the cabinet and have a question for people using console control panels. Specifically, I would like to use an X-arcade Tankstick AND/OR two PS3 controllers, simultaneously. I'd like to have the Tankstick be used by default, but if someone wants to use a PS3 controller, they can pick it up, turn it on, and start playing. I can't wrap my head around how to do this and the attempts I've made have led to failure and frustration. Hi Everyone, I finally made the transition from using an old 2tb HD to a new SSD. The boot up times are simply amazing. Most of you will say that's a no brainer but coming from someone who has less experience with Hyperspin, I was simply blown away. Hyperspin is a pretty amazing piece of software and its many emulators. I'm not sure if I want to add anything else to my arcade but I do enjoy entertaining when friends come over. They love playing the arcade especially MAME and its 80's classics which we have all come to love and enjoy over and over. I could never get sick and tired of Donkey Kong, Pac-Man, Dig Dug etc. Timeless.

Hello Everyone, This is my first time posting on this forum and I need some help serious help! I am pretty much a nub when it comes to this kind of stuff so please bear with me. I built my mame HyperSpin cabinet about a year ago. I mostly am the one playing so when I was testing everything was great (never really tested with two players). Anyway, We had a large party this Thanksgiving and everyone wanted to play. When two people were playing the game would work for about 20 seconds then it would just go away?? Hey folks. Finally getting around to updating my cabinet after 4 years and I'm currently trying to download HS 1.3.3. It's painfully slow. Approximately 90kb/sec. Not that it matters too much, I can wait. But just in case there is a problem on HS end of things that may need attention. Also, I did a speed test and I'm currently dl=126.02 and ul=24.23

As the topic says, I have a weird problem with starting mame in hyperspin. Let me explain. When I first start hyperspin and pick a mame game, it works and I can play the game. No problems. HOWEVER... AFter I am done playing the game and exit it which takes me back to the hyperspin Mame wheel of course, and then I choose to play the same game or another game again but this time I cant start the game. I can move the wheel up and down to highlight other games. I can even back out and choose another emulator. However I can't play any game. Not even from another emulator (for example Retroarch). I'm looking to buy the 4tb hard drive containing Hyperspin and all the included systems, but I have 2 questions: http://www.hyperspin-systems.com/collections/all/products/hyperspin-150-systems-4tb-external-hdd A) Is there a list of games that are included? If so where can I find it? I want to make sure that each system contains all of its respective games, as well as make a list of missing games (or at least for Mugen, Mame, gamecube, ps2, and xbox) Thank you. Having all types of issues. Launch Hyperspin and the wheel goes nuts! Also, for some reason when I try to launch a game in rocketlauncher I get this... Error "use global" is not a valid key name. All games work in Mame and I love this platform but after 2 weeks Hyperspin has never worked for me. Can someone tell me what I'm doing wrong?

any help with hyper spin would be great . i have hyper spin running on my pc, and only can get my x arcade stick to work with mame. no other emulators at all. please help, i want to map my buttons for the other emulators with my x arcade stick to use for the main hyper spin menu and for games i want to play. just can't figure out how to map them. please help. the only way i even got mame to work with my x arcade stick was the x arcade stick website had a easy button mapping config for hyper spin. i know in hyperhq i have went in there but it seems to just control the main hyper spin menu like scrolling through the wheels, but if i click on a emulator say snes i can open …

Just found this game last night and its awesome for what it is. Web/flash based game. I followed a thread (an old thread) on byoac forum where they talked about making the swf file into an exe for offline play but then the thread died and been silent since years ago. Just wondered if anyone here has played it and found a way to get it to play offline and running from HS?

Hi Guys, My first post so please be gentle. I have everything installed and working well however I only seem to have around 3200 Mame videos that HyperSync sync's so I am often missing the game videos. I especially seem to be missing Atari videos. I see around 7300 roms listed in RocketLauncher audit. Is this to be expected - that is are there quite a few videos missing? E.g Atari Centipede (1980) or Atari Crystal Castles 1983 Cheers Chris
