Hi, throughout time, I have created several XML files form my roms directories using Don's tools. Because of that, many of them do not include genre, year and other metadata included in the official HS databases. I was thinking I could use a tool to merge official metadata into my XMLs (for those games that match games, of course). does anyone know a tool I could use for this (I've look through my tools collection and could not find anything interesting)? I realize I could try to code something, but my skills and time are limited. thanks in advance, pablo.

I know there used to be several threads about booting directly into HS within windows 10, but I can't seem to find them. Can anyone point me in the right direction? I'd like to hide as much of Windows as possible. Thanks!

I found that in the forum: http://www.hyperspin-fe.com/files/file/12058-hyperhq/ As the changelog says fixes the crash when selecting roms folders and video folders. I tried and works, but now I have a doubt: is this thing safe?

Is there a way to export my Amiga database to a .nfo file? I'd like to import all roms to rom collection browser and the Amiga one, which works in HS, is heavy to import.

Hey All, I'm going through the process of setting up my system. Trying to take it one system at a time, but that is clearly not how it works for me. I keep jumping from one thing to another. I'm clearly going crazy here. This is a lot of "FUN" and I can't stop myself. So, since my setup is a mish-mash of systems that are partially setup, it would be nice if there was an app that could toggle the systems that I have completely working so that when I put it up on the screen to show off, only those systems are showing. I can do it manually by ' tagging the xml. I just thought someone might be smart enough to automate this. I'm sure I'm not the only one. Especially when …

Hey guys i need some help with Dons hyperlist creater i am trying to create a XML from DAT and am using the progetto snaps MAME dat 175 i add the dat and fill in the blanks and click create yet the xml produced is empty every time i cant understand why any help would be great im using the newest versions of dons tools 4.3.25

Hello yeah its me again and again i screwed up my hyperspin, so from now i have to set my nas to make a folder clone. I begin all over with the YouTube guide from simply austin. Many users have problems with deamon tools in windows 10 and i have to. When i installed a old version it wont install scsi i have tried it with sptd but then the pc says i need to reboot and also after reboot it wont work. There was a tread on the rlauncher forum but i cant find it anymore. Does anyone has a solution or idea for me? Thanks I found that deamon tools 6.1.0.0483 will install correctly.if it is working to i can not confim because i am far from ready.

I an having trouble getting retroarch to run. when I run it I get the following error: RetroArch [ERROR] :: gfx_ctx_init :: Failed to bind API (0, version 0.0) on context driver "d3d" I originally had windows 7 and it didn't work on that, I upgraded to 10 and still same error. I've been searching the internet for a few weeks and have not really found an answer, any idea where I should start?

Okay today I am back yet again to release EZ Flasher which is a SWF loader designed especially for use with HyperSpin. Using EZ-Flasher is well, EZ. To install simply unpack the contents of the file located here into a directory and rename your SWF file to game.swf, then run EZ-Flasher.exe. EZ Flasher has key bindings that allow you to use your keyboard/tankstick to mouse buttons, cursor movements as well as other various features. I don't know how a flash wrapper could get easier than this. Read the settings.ini file for more details. I have tested EZ-Flasher with up to twenty-two key bindings. Hello Does a razer sabertooth work with padder, now I won't have a game pad so I should know before when it not work I am planning to buy a Xbox 360 or Xbox one controller. Is a sabertooth not wireless? Then I don't want it. Has anyone a good experience with a other game pad.

I have tried numerous times to set up a custom control scheme for jnes with xpadder. I plan to be able to exit a game with the controller rather than the keyboard and also bind the d-pad and thumb-stick to the arrow keys. Every time I enable the keypadder for the Nintendo entertainment system xpadder crashes when i launch a nes game through hyperspin. I get an error saying Access violation to address (some numbers).

Hi Guys, With 1.0 officially released, I'm ready to start crowd-sourcing info in an effort to complete the missing MAME games from the colors.ini and controls.ini files. To that end, I've created a Google Doc with about 1,000 missing games -- so far I'm focusing only on games that use joysticks + up to 6 buttons. For tracking purposes, the Google Doc is invite only and any additions should include a link to the source used. All additions require sources. Any help would be very much appreciated! I cannot get Hyperspin to displaying 0.176 MP4 video snaps,i can hear the sound but no video display on any game Themes............But my 0.173 FLV work fine....if i go into MAME,media,video i can click on any video file and they play fine....but normally being MP4 you can see the video before it plays,but i only see the VLC orange cone before i play it........any ideas anyone....thank you

Just did a backup of my cab and Windows Defender always flags several things (Taito Type X files, a few Bat files, Killer instinct etc...) But this time it also flagged Maltule.C!cl as a trojan. It doesn't show any path or file it is associated to, so I can't tell if it's part of a game, rom, utility etc... Anyone have any idea? If it's false and I delete it something in my setup will break, but if it's truly bad then obviously I want it gone. Googled it, but you know how worthless that is. You just get 1000 AV spam sites with no actual info.
